Artist Profile

Although I was educated in various disciplines, working as an artist became my life career. I am registered as a Professional Engineer of Ontario in Mineral Engineering. I hold Master of Science degree in Geography from University of Warsaw, Poland, as well as, I graduated with honours from Ontario College of Art and Design (Toronto, Canada). I am an Official Member of the Portrait Society of Canada..
My place of work is north of Toronto (Ontario, Canada).
I have received numerous art awards for designs, illustrations and photography. My work has been exhibited at various juried art shows throughout Ontario (Toronto, Richmond Hill, Thornhill, London, Etobicoke, Unionville, Mississauga). My artworks and designs are in numerous private and corporate collections in Canada, Poland, Japan.
I have been engaged in freelance graphic designs, photography, commercial and medical illustrations but my main interest is in fine art painting.
I have been working in various media: oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, pencil, mixed media, woodcuts and computer graphics. My most preferred medium is oil or acrylic, but quite often I reach for watercolour mixed with crayons and pastels. The medium, which I use for my art, in most cases, depends on the subject, the moment and the way I feel about it.
